The resort began celebrating the spirit of Thanksgiving on November 1st. We always welcome back our snowbird family with open arms. For many of our guests, we are more than a winter destination. We’re a home away from home with friendships that pick up right where they left off.

This year, the unseasonably warm weather gave everyone a chance to ease into the season outdoors. Whether it was a friendly round of mini golf, spirited pickleball matches, afternoons at the pool, or sunset visits to our new Swing Away Driving Range, there was no shortage of ways for residents to enjoy the Florida sunshine.

On Saturday, November 22nd, our community gathered for one of the most beloved traditions of the season: the annual Thanksgiving potluck. The resort provided the turkey, ham, and stuffing, and our residents brought their favorite side dishes. The event was a relaxed, festive afternoon spent around round tables savoring the traditional meal and enjoying time together.

As the holiday week continued, many residents spent Thanksgiving Day visiting loved ones, while several chose to celebrate right here at the resort. Some enjoyed a quiet holiday in their rigs; others gathered with friends who have become like family. With the Community Center doors always open, it served once again as an inviting shared space—a cozy extension of everyone’s living room and dining room—perfect for holiday meals and impromptu game nights.
As we reflect on 2025, we are grateful for a year filled with activities, community events, new amenities, and steady progress on our park expansion. Most of all, we are grateful for you—our guests who bring warmth, and joy to Keystone Heights RV Resort all year long.
