Every December at Keystone Heights RV Resort, our activities revolve around one simple goal: making the holidays feel like home. Consider this our unofficial Christmas checklist — and how our community checks every box.

Holiday Decorations?
Check. One of the first signs that Christmas has arrived is decorating the tree — and at Keystone Heights, it’s something we do together. Residents gather in the Community Center for Deck the Halls, trimming the tree while Christmas music plays in the background. A cookie-decorating station adds a playful, childlike touch, reminding us that holiday joy doesn’t have an age limit.
A Festive Welcome Home?
Check. The Christmas spirit begins the moment you arrive. Red-and-green wrapped palm trees line the entrance, and large wreaths hang on the gates — a cheerful reminder that you’re pulling into a festive home away from home.

Holiday Treats to Share?
Check. What’s Christmas without cookies? Our holiday cookie exchange brings residents together to share their favorite seasonal recipes — and a little adult hot chocolate doesn’t hurt either. Everyone heads home with a generous sampling of 18 different holiday cookies, each one made with care and tradition.

Christmas Shopping Without the Stress?
Check. Holiday shopping doesn’t require a long drive when it comes right to the resort. Our Holiday Market features more than 40 vendors offering gifts of every size, style, and personality. A wrapping station makes it even easier — residents leave with purchases beautifully wrapped and ready to give.

A Parade Full of Holiday Cheer?
Check. The golf cart parade is one of those traditions that simply feels like Christmas. Residents decorate their carts — some subtle, some spectacular — and prizes are awarded for creativity. The parade then winds through the park, spreading smiles and holiday cheer to everyone along the way.

Festive Evenings and Twinkling Lights?
Check. Golf carts aren’t the only things dressed for the season. Many residents decorate their sites, each in their own unique style. Some go all out while others keep things simple — but every display reflects the creativity and holiday spirit of our community.
One of the quiet joys of December is driving around the park in the evenings, taking in the lights and decorations and enjoying a peaceful, festive tradition that feels distinctly like home.
Christmas Lights to Explore Nearby?
Check. In addition to the festive displays throughout the resort, many residents enjoy exploring nearby holiday light displays during the season.
Just a short drive away in Starke, Florida, Lights on 14th features an impressive home display with lights timed to music on a continuous loop of about ten minutes. The display is free to enjoy, with donations benefiting the local animal shelter — a meaningful way to experience holiday cheer while giving back.
For those who want to venture a bit farther, St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights is about an hour away and offers one of the most well-known holiday light displays in the country, illuminating the historic district throughout the season.

Christmas Music?
Check. December weekends are filled with music of all kinds — from an ugly sweater contest with DJ Joe to Christmas PJ Karaoke to a solo guitarist serenading the resort with familiar holiday favorites.

Holiday Crafts and Creative Fun?
Check. Creative hands stay busy all season long with Christmas-themed crafts designed to keep spirits bright. From decorated cookies and cakes to stoneware Christmas tree platters and painted ceramic ornaments, there’s something for everyone to celebrate the season in their own way.

Christmas That Feels Like Home?
Check. Christmas doesn’t have to look exactly the same to feel right. At Keystone Heights RV Resort, the traditions that matter most — togetherness, creativity, warmth, and joy — are all right here.
